Routific is thrilled that we’ve been officially certified as one of Canada’s Great Places to Work. This certification is based on direct feedback from our employees gathered from a 60-question standard survey about their workplace experience.

The Great Place to Work Trust Index measures trust in the workplace along 5 key dimensions:

  • Credibility
  • Respect
  • Fairness
  • Pride
  • Camaraderie

Based on the responses of our team, Routific scored a whopping 98%!

We’re proud of this achievement because of what this certification means.

Nancy Fonseca, Senior Vice President of Great Place to Work Canada, says a great workplace is about:

  • The level of trust that employees experience in their leaders
  • The level of pride they have in their jobs
  • The extent to which they enjoy their colleagues

“Our data shows that great workplaces benefit from stronger financial performance, reduced turnover, and better customer satisfaction than their peers,” says Fonseca. “What's more, work environments with trust at the foundation are ripe for innovation, agility, resilience and efficiency.”

We couldn’t have said it better. These are the core reasons why we spend so much time crafting a company culture that goes beyond perks like snacks and the occasional social event. Culture is defined by experiences that are woven into our day-to-day work: how leaders communicate, how teams resolve conflict, and how the company as a whole problem solves the big, hairy challenges of growing a startup.

Our founder and CEO Marc Kuo notes that “when the pandemic hit and we suddenly found ourselves working remotely for the first time, the daily rituals that had bonded us together were gone instantly. This spurred us to hire our first HR leader, but we wanted more than just a head of hiring and payroll. That’s why we conscientiously hired our Head of People and Culture, to champion things like career growth, personal wellness, and diversity and inclusion. We’re really proud to see the fruits of that commitment in this certification.”
